The Master’s Programme in Human Rights and Democratisation in the Caucasus offers up to 20 scholarships to cover tuition, travel expenses (to/from home country to Armenia, to/from home country to partner country and thesis defense travel) and/or monthly stipend for 8 months. Scholarships will be provided to resident and non-resident students of the programme.
Based on admission results, the programme will offer admission with full, partial scholarship or no scholarship basis. Depending on the Scholarship funding source as well conditions may vary depending on applicant’s country of residence and will be communicated in the admission letter.
Full scholarship will cover tuition, travel expenses and provide stipends. Partial scholarship will either cover tuition fee or travel expenses and stipends.
Self-funded students will cover their own costs both during 1st and 2nd semesters, hence they are encouraged to look for other sources of funding.

TUITION FEE
Programme tuition fee is fixed by the Yerevan State University and it may vary based on applicant’s country of residence:
Group 1: citizens of the Republic of Armenia, Artsakh, Javakhk and Diaspora Armenians from Syria – 900,000.00AMD
Group 2: citizens of NIS countries – 1,170,000.00 AMD
Group 3: citizens of other states -1,350,000.00 AMD
Tuition fee payments can be divided into few transactions, where first one (at least 25% of the fee) should be made from by July 17, 2026 (for stage 1 applicants) and August 29, 2026 (for stage 2 applicants).
