The event took place with a rich programme of events about “New Technologies and Human Rights”. The profusion of New Technologies and of Information and Communication Technologies in many aspects of individual and collective life is one of the defining features of our times. The advancement of new technologies in the XXI century –also known as the fourth industrial revolution – along with the expansion of the Internet, social media, and artificial intelligence have a direct impact on how the public and private sectors and individuals interact. These new and transformational environments present opportunities and challenges when their practices are analysed in terms of human rights.

GC Caucasus alumni and representatives participated in the event. Our students delivered an impressive presentation during the panel discussions.

In addition to the students and representatives from Global Campus of Human Rights, the event feautured experts from Latin America on Human Rights, State representatives, International and Non-Governmental organisations, Think Tanks, Diplomatic Corps, the EU Delegation in Buenos Aires, Tech organisations and Global Campus Alumni.
