On June 10, 2022 the Yerevan State University signed Memorandum of Understanding with the American University in Central Asia(AUCA), Kyrgyzstan on development of collaborative and research projects in general and within the framework of the Global Campus of Human Rights in particular.

The cooperation includes exchange of faculty and students, joint teaching and organisation of  study visits, conferences and other events, participation in Global Campus of Human Rights events , cooperation within the frames of various international projects, research, etc.

Within the Frames of the MoU, the Global Campus Caucasus  will cooperate with Liberal Arts and Science/LAS/ Human Rights Concentration.  The team at AUCA has already developed an interdisciplinary module equal to (17 ECTS) which includes 6 courses on Human rights in Changing world, Business and Human rights, Technology justice and human Rights, Human rights in Armen conflicts, Combating violence against women, etc. The module will become one of mobility semesters offered by the GC Caucasus starting from 2022/23 academic year.

The Global Campus Caucasus is glad to welcome new partner into GC Caucasus family.  This cooperation  will only  enhance the quality of academic programme, offer new opportunities for students and the faculty, provide different perspective on Human rights and its challenges.
