Starting from November 22 to December 10, more than 50 civil servants, in 3 groups each, will participate in the Emergency Management professional training course. The aim of the course is to present the essence of the crisis, crisis management, its mechanisms and impact. There is a chain correlation between different crises; in this sense, the management of socio-economic and political crises is one of the important competencies of state bodies, and the course briefly addresses the issues of their management.
The training is conducted by Hasmik Harutyunyan, a specialist at the State Academy of Crisis Management of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, and Arusyak Aleksanyan, Candidate of Political Science, head of research unit of CES.
Professional training programs (non-degree) constitute one of the important components of the Center for European Studies activities and was conducted within the frames of the Global Campus Caucasus programme. The series of  competency training courses for civil servants has been designed and conducted by the Centre since 2019 in cooperation with the Civil Service Office of the Prime Minister’s Office.
