The pilot training on “The rule of law as the basis of public service” for junior public servants from various governmental institutions a
nd regional administration bodies took place at the Centre for European Studies, YSU.
The competence training is organised inthe frames of the Regional MA Programme in Human Rights and Democratisation in the Caucasus in cooperation with Civil Service office of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia.
The training sessions were conducted by the CES lecturers: Dr. Ashot Aleksanian and Ms Hasmik Harutyunyan, GC Caucasus programme alumni and lecturer at Academy of Justice, Armenia.
It lasted 3 consecutive weeks (June 3-5, June 10-12, June 17-19), targeting up to 15 civil servants each week. Each training session lasted 3 days upon completion of which participants took an exam.
The participants highly appreciated the knowledge received during the trainings.
